My name is Kellie Marie Slattery and I am currently pursuing majors in Literature and Communication Studies at American University in Washington DC. My hope is two combine my love of writing and my communications skills to create a clear career path for myself in the future. 

 

During this past semester in my Visual Literacy semenar, I have expanded my talents and skills in the area of visual presentation so as to better prepare myself for an eventual career in communications. Ideally, these new skills in video production and visual displays will work in combination with my writing skills to make me a more valuble asset in the field.
